Help us breathe new life into our local woodland understory with a rewarding morning of planting. We’ll be introducing young, native plants grown by the Wild Woods Restoration Project from locally sourced seeds. This is a gentle, low-impact session focused on nurturing the ecosystem rather than heavy lifting.
Our restoration site is just a short, scenic walk from the trailheads via our existing trail network. Since we are working with small plants and lightweight tools, the work is accessible to everyone. Because we’ll be working in a wetland environment, please wear clothing and boots that can handle a bit of mud and water. We also highly recommend long sleeves, long pants, and bug spray for your comfort.
No experience is necessary, and all tools are provided. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or a first-time volunteer, everyone is welcome to help our forest thrive!
Limited to 10 participants. Advance registration is required. Register at https://wildwoodsproject.org/events/
