Seedling Potting with Wild Woods Restoration

We are thrilled to host the Wild Woods Restoration Project for a hands-on morning of conservation right here at the Closter Nature Center!

Come help us pot native seedlings that will eventually be planted to restore and heal our local public lands. This is a fantastic opportunity to give back to the environment, meet fellow nature lovers, and learn directly from ecological experts—all while working comfortably outdoors in the shade.

🌿 What to Expect

  • Everything is provided: We've got the pots, the soil, and the native plants ready to go.

  • Expert guidance: Learn about local ecology and proper potting techniques from the Wild Woods team.

  • No experience necessary: Whether you are a master gardener or have never touched a trowel, all are welcome!

Space is limited to ensure a great experience for everyone. To secure your spot, please register directly through the Wild Woods Restoration Project:
