SUMMER PROGRAM
Registration will open April 1st and is done via CommunityPass
Join us at the Closter Nature Center for our beloved Summer Program, open to children ages 4–14!
For more than 50 years, young explorers have enjoyed hands-on adventures across our 136 acres of ponds, streams, meadows, and forests. Campers hike scenic trails, wade into freshwater habitats, meet our animal ambassadors, investigate the wonders of nature, play engaging outdoor games, and build confidence in the natural world, all in a supportive group setting. Each session is led by a trained naturalist and an assistant to ensure a fun, safe, and enriching experience.
Our Summer Program runs yearly from July - August. Each session will either be morning or afternoon, Monday through Thursday, with registration available for one or more 4-day weeks. Morning and afternoon programs are offered for each age group on varying weeks. Please see the schedule for the coming summer to understand when sessions are offered for each age group.
Children ages 4-6 meet for 2-hours each day, with full-week fees of $110 for members, $130 for non-members.
Children ages 7 – 10, and 11-14 meet for 3-hours each day, with full-week fees of $165 for members, $195 for non-members.
Become a member to receive the discounted rates for all youth programs, as well as other benefits.
Sessions are limited to 15 participants. If you are wait-listed and a spot opens up, you will be notified and asked to confirm your child’s spot with payment.
