Ever wonder what those tiny, colorful birds flitting through the treetops are? We have a morning hike dedicated to the "gems" of spring migration: Warblers! This walk will be led by long-time CNC Trustee, birding enthusiast, and aspiring bird photographer Joel Rudin. It is geared towards beginners and will be at a leisurely pace.
Children are welcome as long as they are patient and can be quiet and still when needed.
Equipment and conditions:
Bring binoculars if you have them; a few loaners will be available. Cameras are welcome but not required.
It’s spring in the wetlands! The trails will likely be muddy, and the bugs are waking up, so please wear sturdy boots and bring your preferred repellent.
The trails are flat but there are tree roots and some slipper spots.
We will hit the trail at 9:00 am sharp. Please try to arrive by 8:45.
This program is FREE for CNC Members. Attendance by non-members is by a suggested donation of $10 per person.
